Robert E. Clark, 64, of Marlborough died peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2021 after a seven year battle with cancer. Bob was the son of Barbara (Rogers) Clark and the late Henry J. Clark.
Bob served his country proudly with the U.S. Air Force, and worked for many years in business machine repair for Minolta and Northern Business Machines. He was a Friend of Bill W. for 35+ years, and was a loved and respected member of the MetroWest recovery community where he made numerous friends who brought joy to his life with their calls, visits and texts during his illness.
Bob loved sports, especially the Boston Bruins and golf, but spending time with friends and family was his greatest pleasure.
Besides his mother, Barbara, he is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen M. Clark of Quincy and Mary C. Jordan and her husband James of Southborough, his aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Philip Dyer of Nottingham, NH, many cousins and his nephews, Michael and Sean Vaillancourt and William and Matthew Jordan.
The family would like to thank Bob’s doctors and nurses at UMass for the care and compassion they showed Bob - it extended his life for many years. Special thanks to Bob’s hospice angels: Shelly, Savannah, Katrina, Jason and Erica.
Considering the current health restrictions, Bob’s family will honor and remember his life with a private mass that will be live streamed on Wednesday morning, February 24th at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Addiction Referral Center Building Fund, 33 Main Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
