Marjorie J. (Milley) Brochu, 92, a longtime Framingham resident died Saturday, January 25, 2020 surrounded by her family. Born in Newfoundland the daughter of the late John & Elizabeth (Thorne) Milley, she was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Brochu.
Marjorie was raised and educated in Newfoundland and later immigrated to the US in her early 20’s. She met and married the love of her life Raymond, and they settled to raise their family in Framingham. Selfless, compassionate, and always looking out for everyone else first, Marjorie enjoyed, cooking, gardening, but nothing more than being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth J. Cantone of Douglas, her son in law John of Malden, her grandchildren, Tina Cantone and her companion Scott Fontaine, Raymond Cantone, and TJ Dowden, her great grandson Isaiah Cantone, her sister, Joyce Barter, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her late husband Raymond, Marjorie was predeceased by her son Raymond, and her siblings, Eva Beehan, Fanny Stickland, Chesley Milley, and William Milley.
Family and friends will honor and remember Marjorie’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Friday, January 31st from 4 – 8 P.M. Her Funeral Services will be celebrated on Saturday morning in Wesley United Methodist Church, 80 Beacon St. Framingham at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery.
