Johnson "Kunjumon" Lukose, 71 years old, of Waltham, MA., passed away on November 19th, 2021, at 6:31 pm.
Born in Kollam, Kerala, India, he was the eldest son of ten children of the late Antony and Mary Lukose; he was Gracy James's husband; and father to Saji Lukose and Saumia Santana.
Kunjumom grew up in East Kallada, Kerala, India, and studied physics, chemistry, and biology at Fatima Government College. He became the Director of Accounting for the Government Colleges of Kerala. Like many of his generation, he immigrated to America in the eighties better life for his family.
Kunjumon is survived by his two children, Saji Lukose of Stow, MA., Saumia Santana of Norwalk, CT., and his grandchild, Matteo Rohan Santana. He is further survived by his sisters living in Kerala, India: Girly, Thankamani, Pushpam, Vimala, and Treesamma. He has now joined his brothers, Raju and Adolphus (Unni), and his parents in Heaven.
Being of a creative mind and keen problem solver, Kunjumon always found solutions to problems. He loved learning about everything from home remodeling to car mechanics. He routinely helped his church community and its members. Most importantly, he loved both of his children. He would do anything he could to help them, from weekly college visits to dance classes in another state, ultimately shaping who they would become.
Family and friends will honor and remember Kunjumon's life by gathering for his Wake on Wednesday, November 24th at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church located at 41 Brook St, Framingham, MA. His Funeral Mass will follow in the Church at 11:30AM. Interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.
