Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of John M. McGrath, Jr. announce his passing on March 15, 2021 at the age of 56.

Survived by his Father John McGrath, his Mother Donna Messineo and Aunt Elinor Roberts. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Christina McGrath, Michelle Gates, Anne McGrath and Mary Arrandale. Forever remembered by his many nieces and nephews, his dear friend Dayle Maltese and her sons Mason and Marshal.

Predeceased by Ralph McGrath, Nancy Ahearn, Leonard McGrath, Kenneth McGrath and his two beloved, late grandsons Theodore (Theo) and Nathaniel Maltese.

Known to friends as Jack, he was born March 5, 1965 in Saxonville, MA.  He was an avid, professional fisherman with a dedicated love for the Cape Cod Canal.  Jack will be missed and fondly remembered by family and his many friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jack’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Monday, March 22nd from 4-8PM.  Proper social distancing and mask etiquette will be required.  His Funeral Mass and Interment will be celebrated privately.
