Christine Ann (Kingston) Goodreau of Framingham, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
Christine was born on December 25th, 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Gerald Francis Kingston of Quincy, MA and Helen Mary (Goudoras) Kingston of New York City, New York. She grew up in Quincy and eventually attended Northeastern University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
She worked for several years at Framingham State University in the disability services department and then transitioned to teaching preschool. She was a devoted member of her local church and her favorite pastimes included crocheting, reading, drinking tea, creating floral arrangements, and water-walking at the YMCA. Christine was an outgoing person who was kind to everyone she met and her optimist outlook allowed her to persevere through life’s challenges.
She is survived by her husband James Goodreau, her two daughters Elizabeth and Teresa Goodreau, her brother Steven E. Kingston of Canon City, Colorado, as well as other extended family.
Christine will be remembered at a wake service held on Monday, November 22nd from 4-7pm at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at 10am at St. Stephen’s Parish, 221 Concord St., Framingham, MA.
