Anthony J. DeNorscia, Sr.,  93, Korean War Veteran and longtime resident of Framingham, MA, died at home on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021.  Born in Waltham, MA he is the son of the late Massimo and Mary (Fabrizio) DeNorscia and was the beloved husband of the late Janet M. (Finocchio) DeNorscia.

Anthony grew up in Waltham and went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army. He later resumed what would become a 42 year career at Raytheon, where he met his wife Janet.

Anthony is survived by his six cherished children, Anthony J.  DeNorscia Jr. of Framingham, David A. DeNorscia of Grafton, John P. DeNorscia of Berlin, Christine M. DeNorscia of Marlborough, Leah J. DeNorscia-Wyatt of Southborough, and Andrea J. DeNorscia of Framingham, his nine loving grandchildren, Angela (DeNorscia)Thornton, Nicolas DeNorscia , Michelle DeNorscia, Kristal DeNorscia, Joseph DeNorscia, Jaycen DeNorscia, Nicole Wyatt, Jacqueline Wyatt, and Cameron Wyatt, and many nieces and nephews. Anthony is also survived by his brother Robert Chiarelli of Thousand Oaks, CA.

An avid gardener and birdwatcher, Anthony’s roses were admired by all and he attracted a wide variety of backyard birds with his unique bird feeders. He loved music, particularly opera, and all Boston sports teams, but especially the Boston Celtics with whom he enjoyed many championships as a season ticket holder.

Family and friends will honor and remember Anthony’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass in St. Anselm Church, 100 Landham Rd., Sudbury on Saturday morning, November 20th at 11:00 A.M. (There is a mask mandate in Sudbury). Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Anthony’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
