Mary T. (Kennedy) Lawler, 86, a longtime resident of Framingham died Friday, December 14, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late William & Anastasia (Moore) Kennedy, and the beloved wife of the late William A. Lawler who died in 2009.
Mary was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain in Blessed Sacrament Schools. She later attended business school and in 1963, she and Bill made their home in Framingham where they raised their family.
Mary loved to cook for all of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed all sports especially the Red Sox and Celtics. Another pleasure of hers was the beaches of Cape Cod and Maine, but above all these things her favorite role was being a mother. She was the doting mother of Karen A. Miscia & her husband Mike of Natick, William A. Jr. & his wife Judy of Lincoln, her triplets, John K. & his wife Theresa of Blackstone, Richard C. of Northborough, and Patrick J. of Franklin, her son Christopher R. & his wife Maureen of Westborough, and her twins, Andrea B. Scaparotti & her husband Gerald of Franklin, and James F. of Franklin. Mary was the proud grandmother of Patrick, Christina, Katelyn, Michelina, Michael, Natasha, Tessi, Malia, Eva, Isabella, Anthony, Nicholas, Cullen, Blake, and Casey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her beloved husband Bill of 53 years, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Thomas & Buddy Kennedy.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham on Tuesday, December 18th from 4 – 8 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. George’s Church, 74 School St. Saxonville, on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:15 P.M.
