June M. (Brooks) Earley, 92, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at Heritage Assisted Living in Framingham. Born and raised in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late James E. & Helen R. (Grant) Brooks, and the beloved wife of the late Lt. James J. Earley, Framingham Fire Dept.
June was a 1942 graduate of Arlington High School, and went on to the Fay School of Boston. She then worked as a legal assistant in varied law firms in Boston. She was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi, a national social and cultural organization that incorporated service as part of its activities with the motto, “ Life, Learning & Friendship”.
Throughout her life, June loved to sing and dance, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, and was active in refunding. She and her late husband were members of St. George Parish, Saxonville for many years.
June is survived by her brother, James E. Brooks, Jr. of Arlington, her sister, Sheila A. Lafford of Framingham, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember June’s life by gathering for a graveside service on Wednesday August 1st in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fenwick St., Framingham at 11:30 A.M. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
