Greer Abby Epstein, 65, died in the early morning hours, July 28th, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Facing her foe with grace, courage and dignity, she spent the last year and a half battling this implacable disease.
Greer was born November 25, 1953 in Summit, New Jersey and was a lifelong resident in the tri-state area and Boston. She was a 9-11 survivor and made it her life’s purpose to be a remarkable humanitarian and avid volunteer for those in need at Catholic Dioceses in New Jersey and the conferences associated with those diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Greer had a passion for traveling, baking and reading. She had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She touched many lives with her generosity, caring and passion for life.
She graduated from Villa Walsh Academy in Morristown, NJ and attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. Her degree was in Finance which led to her career as a computer professional. She worked for Morgan Stanley for 20 years before retiring.
A celebration of Life memorial service will be announced at a later date, and private funeral services will be held.
