Genevieve H. (Howard) Prevost, 80, a longtime Holliston resident died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 following a brief illness. Born in Rome, NY on Easter Sunday, she was known by her friends and family as Bunny. She was the daughter of the late George & Helen (Prior) Howard, and the beloved wife of the late Allen Robert Prevost.
Bunny was raised and educated in St, Albans, VT where she was a 1956 graduate of Bellows Free Academy. She went on to earn her Associates Degree at Endicott College and began working in Boston.
Set up on a blind date through mutual friends, Bunny met the love of her life, Bob. They lived for some time in Boston before moving to Holliston in 1966 where they later raised their two children.
Bunny enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. She loved spending time with family at their summer home in Laconia, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee, and later Wickford, RI.
She is survived by her son, Timothy J. & his wife Patti of Foxboro, her daughter, Dorothy P. Powers & her husband Richard of Holliston, her grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth, as well as her cousins and their families.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bunny’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham on Monday, April 23rd from 9 – 10 A.M. Her Funeral Service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Interment in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
