Ann (Amberlock) D'Angelo, of Ashland, left quietly, in the middle of the night, Thursday, March 22, 2018, when her heart stopped after 89 years. Born and raised in Westfield, Massachusetts, she married Lawrence W. D'Angelo. They moved to Framingham where they lived for more than 30 years before he passed in 1992.
Ann was often described by those who knew her as a “character,” never holding back on saying exactly how she felt and, with a wink, steadfast in her claim of being a Lithuanian Princess. She enjoyed cooking and eating good food, was a talented knitter and loved going to the beach, where she worked hard on her tan. She loved traveling with her husband and was a devoted follower of fashion. She worked for many years in the retail industry as a shop clerk at Filenes, Sears and Macy's.
She leaves behind her sons, Stephen and Mark (Victoria) and daughter Pamela (William Hagy) and two grandsons, Michael D'Angelo and Izaak Hagy.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ann’s life by celebrating her Funeral Mass in St. George Church, 74 School St., Saxonville on Thursday morning April 5th at 10 o’clock. Interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s name to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA 01702, www.framinghamheartstudy.org
